How to use the Music Genre Picker Wheel: playlist roulette

The Music Genre Picker Wheel is a free playlist roulette for road trips, dorm parties, and DJ rounds. Spin the music genre picker wheel to break out of your usual playlist on SpinWheel.

   Customize the Music Genre Picker Wheel

   • Default genres load on the playlist roulette. Add subgenres, decades, or artist names.
   • Paste any music categories one per line on the music genre picker wheel.
   • Use Sort A to Z to alphabetize your list, or Shuffle to mix the wheel order.

   • Click Spin genre wheel or press Space on the playlist roulette.
   • Every genre on the Music Genre Picker Wheel has equal odds.

   Queue your random genre

   • The picked genre shows in the popup on the Music Genre Picker Wheel.
   • Everyone queues one song from that genre: classic playlist roulette on SpinWheel.
   • Tap Save result or Spin again in the winner popup before you close it.
   • This session's spins also appear in the Results tab next to Entries. Tap View or Save on any row.

   Save your wheel (entries only)

   • Tap Save below your entry list to store names in Saved, Wheels tab.
   • Add an optional wheel name and description in the popup. This saves your list only, not spin outcomes.

   • After a spin, tap Save result in the winner popup. It stores the outcome in Saved, Results tab.

   Find your saved wheels and results later

   • Tap Saved in the top navigation on any page. On mobile it sits next to Menu with a red count badge.
   • Wheels tab holds saved entry lists (tap Load). Results tab holds saved spins, flips, rolls, and team splits (tap View).
   • Everything stays on this device until you delete it from Saved.
